This policy is designed to keep everyone safe at Heighington Christmas market.

Unless you have written permission from the event organisers, you cannot fly a drone at Heighington Christmas market. This includes flying a drone over the market, its parking areas, or the surrounding streets during the event.
Only pre-approved drone pilots given written permission by the event organisers are allowed to fly. These pilots have been vetted and must follow strict safety rules. Their written Drone Pilot Authorisation must be obtained before arriving at the market. This permit must be presented upon request. .
Safety: Drones can be a hazard to people and property. We want to prevent any accidents.
Privacy: We want to respect the privacy of everyone attending and working at the market.
Enjoyment: We want everyone to enjoy a peaceful, festive atmosphere without the noise and distraction of drones.
If you fly a drone without permission, you will be asked to stop immediately and requested to leave the event.
We will also report the incident to the police and/or the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).
