Agreement to Volunteer By signing this agreement, the Volunteer agrees to volunteer their time and services to Heighington Christmas Market Team (“Organisation”) for the purpose of organising, managing and assisting in Heighington Christmas Market.
The Volunteer agrees to:
Attend Orientation: Attend a mandatory orientation session to learn about the Organisation’s mission, policies, and procedures.
Adhere to Guidelines: Follow all guidelines, policies, and procedures of the Organisation.
Maintain Confidentiality: Keep confidential any sensitive information learned during the volunteer experience.
Professional Conduct: Conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner at all times.
Complete Tasks: Complete assigned tasks and duties to the best of their ability.
Provide Timely Notice: Provide timely notice to the Organisation if they are unable to fulfill their volunteer commitments.
The Organisation agrees to:
Provide Orientation: Provide a comprehensive orientation to all volunteers.
Provide Supervision: Provide appropriate supervision and support to volunteers.
Provide Training: Provide necessary training to volunteers to perform their duties effectively.
Provide Insurance: Provide volunteer liability insurance coverage.
Reimburse Expenses: Reimburse volunteers for reasonable expenses incurred while performing volunteer duties, as approved by the Organisation.
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time, with or without cause, upon written notice to the other party.
The Volunteer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Organisation, its officers, directors, employees, and volunteers from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising out of or in connection with the Volunteer’s performance of services.
Any intellectual property created by the Volunteer during their volunteer service shall be the sole property of the Organisation.
The Volunteer waives any rights to compensation or benefits, including workers’ compensation, unemployment compensation, or other employee benefits.
This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England.
